These Fireside Chats are the perfect setting to present concepts and visions providing food for thought to an involved audience.

The creative and intimate atmosphere allows space to discuss abstract ideas as well as offering pragmatic approaches and concrete solutions to mountain-related topics.

An invited expert will open the session with a short presentation followed by discussion with local Zermatt players. Input from the audience will invigorate the debate.

The swiss cargo bike initiative is founded by the "acadamy for mobility" funded by the development fund "Engamgement Migros". Its goal is to support the use of cargo bikes in Switzerland and there for they are launching different trial courses. The most successful project is "carvelo2go", an online sharing plattform for cargo bikes. Wouldn't be the car free village of Zermatt the perfect place to implement that sharing plattform?

Sybille Suter, working for the acadmy of mobility, will explain the plattform and then start the discussion.

Co-working happens when several people, who do not work for the same company or on the same project, work in the same room. The feeling of community, instant access to feedback and experience, sharing of knowledge and resources and a creative work environment are only some of the benefits it offers. Co-working is particularly popular with professionals who would otherwise have no one but their laptop for company, like developers, writers, designers, entrepreneurs and many more. 

 

Isabelle Behrens, founder of „Alpine Co-Working“, inviting to the discussion and explains her ideas of Co-Working in alpine enviroments. Which chances provide Co-Working spaces for Zermatt?
